Recreation Options
This Acapulco resort's pools are terraced above the bay on three separate decks and include an upper-level pool with a children's section and two freeform pools joined by waterfalls. From the lower deck, a staircase leads to a private beach with calm, transparent water. Sand terraces above the bay and pools' sundecks offer striped umbrellas and cushioned lounge chairs.
A complimentary fitness room contains cardio and other machines. For an additional charge, guests can use the separate women's and men's steam rooms and hydro-massage showers in Spa Miguett.
Children ages 4–11 are invited to Club Travesuras, a complimentary kids' club that operates during summer months, on major holidays, and on most weekends. Supervised activities are held in an air-conditioned clubhouse or outdoors.
An independent operator at the resort rents snorkeling gear and arranges water sports at Puerto Marques Beach. Water sports include personal watercraft, motor boating, scuba diving, fishing, parasailing, and water skiing.
Hiking in the Sierra Madre Mountains surrounding Acapulco, horse riding on ocean beaches noted for surfing, and jet-boat river trips are popular activities. Acapulco has four championship 18-hole golf courses, all located in the same area about 10 km (six mi) from the hotel.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.
