What is "Qatar Stopover"?
Qatar Stopover is a unique programme designed by Qatar Airways and its destination management division, Discover Qatar, in collaboration with Qatar Tourism, enabling passengers to experience Qatar with a stopover whenever transiting through Doha.

What is the validity of the Qatar Stopover packages?
The packages are available for passengers booking for their stopover flights travelling until 31 December 2024, excluding the Eid holidays and blackout dates. All travel must be completed by 31 December 2024. The offer is also subject to room availability at the time of booking.

How do I book a Qatar Stopover?

Do Stopover packages include airport transfers, meals or other benefits?
Stopover Packages are on room only basis. Optional breakfast, transfers and tours are available.

Can I book a Qatar Stopover without a visa?
Nationalities from 100+ countries can enter Qatar visa-free. To check visa requirements, please see the Visit Qatar website.

If you do not qualify for visa-free entry, all you need to do is add a Qatar Transit Visa to the stopover booking, follow a few simple steps and you’ll be on your way to submitting the application for a transit visa of up to 96 hours with Discover Qatar.

Entry into Qatar will be at the discretion of the immigration authorities. TravelUp and Discover Qatar are not responsible for the decision taken by the immigration authorities.

You will have to show your Qatar Stopover booking voucher and boarding pass at the time of check-in. If you have lost your boarding pass, you must provide your Qatar Airways e-ticket number to the hotel for validation.

What time is the check-in and check-out for Stopover hotels?
The Qatar Stopover allows you to check-in any time of the day according to your flight itinerary and check-out any time within 24 hours maximum for 1-night stay offer and within 96 hours for maximum of 4 nights stay.
